Problem
When selecting a client in FBI, the following message appears, 'Another user has already changed the FBI status of this return'. Occasionally an erroneous date is visible in Event 22 via the View Tax Return Events button, usually the date the return was printed in the prior year for this client. When selecting the FBI button on the top toolbar the client appears in two FBI status windows, 'Clients with no FBI Status' and 'Returns sent to clients for signing'.
Resolution
To remove the erroneous date and resolve the message please do the following:
1. Select the FBI button on the top toolbar
2. Select FBI Status ‘Returns sent to clients for signing’ from the drop down box
3. Highlight the relevant client
4. Click to Remove FBI Status
