Problem
IRIS Business Tax- Top menu bar greyed out and no options appear- Data entry, Reports, Admin are greyed out.
Resolution
When you load a company in Business Tax but the top menu bar is greyed out and no options appear on the left side.

1.Load another BT client and then reload the original client – if you get this pop up for Postings, then say yes and fill it in

If you say No then you get this warning and you cannot proceed further until you create new postings

IF you do not get the warnings listed above but you get this type of screen instead:

1.Click ‘View client’ and check if the UK resident is unticked (if it is a UK resident then tick it back on and save)
2. If non resident – then go back to the BT screen and on top right – Tick ‘Liable for Corporation Tax’
