Navigating economic uncertainty: challenges for school, academy and trust leaders

Between November 2022 and January 2023, 255 trust and school leaders took part in the first IRIS Education Leaders’ Survey. These include senior leaders of Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs), individual academies within trusts, Single-Academy Trusts (SATs) and maintained schools.

In this report, we share the key research findings, providing insights into some of the main challenges education leaders face as they navigate through this time of economic uncertainty.
