IRIS Personal Tax- E-checklist generate 'Error generating XML document'

Resolution

When you try and generate a E-checklist for a client and get this warning

Follow these steps below to rectify the affected client

Note: You will need to first identify which specific clients gets this warning if you are running it for ALL clients or Range of clients:

Select the tax year 2008 (this year enables the affected area in capital assets) and select Leave to the question “Would you like to enter new data…?”.
Select Edit Capital Assets
Edit the shareholding entry ( you need to open all of them to do this)
Change Asset Use to ‘Non-Business’ instead of shared and click OK.
Change back to your current tax year.
You should now be able to generate the E-Checklist without error.
