IRIS Business Tax- Unsuitable Client, the client XXXX is not registered for Accounts Production etc
Resolution
When trying to load a client in BT.
If it only happens for a specific client OR you get others with this when trying to load it in BT, it means it may have been setup incorrectly in AP.
1.Load Accounts Production and find the client (you may need to re-register it if you cannot find it from the Client browser, in the client browser at the very top pull down menu – select ‘Whole practice- all clients’ find and load client and say ‘yes’ to register it ).
2. Once loaded, go to Client and View, the Business type could be set to ‘Other’, so switch it to a ‘Limited’ type (or Charity). Save
3. Now load the client in BT.
