I need to know where the PTP TaxExpense software is looking at for the data location.
Resolution
- Go into your PTP installation folder on your machine and look for the file called PTP.ini (If you can’t see it make sure you have file name extensions enabled)
2. Right click on the file and select Open.
3. When opened you should see under [TaxExpense] a line called DatabaseDir=. Take a note of the location and navigate to it in File Explorer.
4. If you are looking to change this to look at the data on a network share, then change the highlighted sections with the network path. We recommend that this is done in a UNC format.
5. Once completed, click file then save and exit the notepad window. Afterwards, open the software and confirm you are able to access the software and see your data.
