IRIS Business Tax- R&D Missing Tick boxes like Additional information (box 660)
Resolution
This affects IRIS version 24.3.0, when entering R&D SME enhanced expenditure for a client, it is not automatically filing out box 660 or showing the boxes to indicate that ‘additional information’ has already been submitted/ Exempt from restriction/Connected Companies and R&D notification (The previously seen four ticks boxes were listed on the R&D SME screen below the Enhanced Deduction field but are now missing).
This is planned to be fixed on IRIS Service Pack in December 2024 (version and Date to be confirmed).
There is also a issue where an expenditure entry in the SME screen is not auto populating the rest of the R&D SME boxes, please read this KB.
