Fundraising for the Make-A-Wish Foundation UK
As July comes to a close we come to the end of our partnership with the charity ‘Make a Wish Foundation UK’!  Once again IRIS employees have been tremendous in their support of our chosen charity and it’s been an incredible year of fundraising.  I am proud to announce that we raised a remarkable total of £25,294.55 and still counting. This was achieved through many fun and exhilarating events that included Sky Dives, Marathons, Bike Rides, Prize Raffles and lots of cake eating and many many more!
‘Make a Wish’ has a very simple objective – to grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. In the last year the money raised by IRIS employees has granted many children’s wishes; here are some of the most recent.
Sophie, aged 5 and living with Neuroblastoma. Sophie’s wish was to go to Disney Paris with her family.
Ten year old Max Hewison living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy wished to be a Zookeeper.
Scarlet, aged 5 and living with Retinoblastoma. Scarlet wished to go to Disney Paris with her family.
