Trust Tax Return shows the standard rate band as £1000

Problem

In Trust Tax Return (type: Discretionary trust) page 5 box Q9A.1, it is showing the standard rate band as £1000 but is expecting to show £500 because there are two trusts.

Resolution

To resolve the above please do the following in Trust Tax: – Data entry – Trust – Other Trust Information – Number of settlements created by the Settlor (from the drop down box choose the number of trusts)
