Problem
Sending RTI information user gets the following error:
Resolution
The fault is with the sender status and role within the online config screen
They just need to be changed to the correct option relating to the login details used for the HMRC login.
Role
- Principle – if you are making the submission on your own account.
- Intermediary – if you are submitting for someone else.
Sender Status Options
- Employer
- Bureau
- Agent
- Government
- Other
Check the setting in “Online Filing” > “Configure“
