IRIS Business Tax- Electronic tax submission failing and generating error message : ClientIRSubmission Create failed! Boolean Create(Int32, Int32, Int32, Int32, Int32, System.DateTime, System.String)
Resolution
This a technical issue linked to your PC/Server SQL. To resolve your issue you need to install the SQL CLR Types from Microsoft SQL Server Feature Packs.
You will need to choose the relevant version for your install of SQL. If you need to identify your version of SQL, follow this guide : https://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertip/1140/how-to-tell-what-sql-server-version-you-are-running/
The following links are for SQL Server 2012 and 2008 R2 Feature Packs.
2012 : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=56041
2008 R2 : https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=44272
On each link you will be given a list of downloads to choose from. When you click download, tick both files named SQLSysClrTypes.msi.
They will have the same file name but one will be a 64 bit version and the other will be a 32 bit version.
Both versions need to be installed on every machine affected.
