Problem
How do I print a narrative, note or message on a payslip?
Resolution
If you are printing payslips:
Go to produce your payslips as normal, make sure you select the output option to “Printer”:
Click “OK” and you will see the following prompt:
Once you have loaded the forms into the printer, click “OK”. You will then see the following message:
Click “Yes” and type your message into the box.
Click “OK”. PAYE-Master will proceed to print your payslips with the message included.
If you are publishing payslips to OpenPayslips:
The process is almost exactly the same, the only difference being you will click “Publish” at the start of the process:
You still want to make sure you select the output option to “Printer”, the software will only print payslips for employees without an email address saved in their personal details:
Click “OK” and you will see the following prompt:
If you have employees on your payroll without an email address you should load the forms into the printer. If all your employees have email addresses ignore this message. Click “OK”. You will then see the following message:
Click “Yes” and type your message into the box.
Payslips published to OpenPayslips will include your narrative message.
