Problem
I am getting the message “HttpStatusInternalServerError” when trying to connect to HMRC to Retrieve Data
Resolution
HMRC are again having some issues with the pre-population of data authorisation process. This means that you may encounter an error when trying to authorise the software to collect data.
HMRC are working on this issue and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible. This status will be updated as soon as we hear more.
It is possible to turn off this feature in IRIS by going to the Setup menu, selecting Retrieve HMRC Data Practice Options and unticking the data calls
