Problem
I have a new starter who also left in the same pay period. My FPS only reports a leaver, what do I do?
Resolution
If an employee is a starter AND a leaver in the same pay period the LEAVER status takes priority on the FPS report. This is correct as per HMRC specification, you do not need to take any further action, send the FPS as normal.
