Problem
HMRC are replacing the web address (URL) you will use to send your RTI submissions.
Resolution
The address used for RTI and CIS submissions is:
https://transaction-engine.tax.service.gov.uk
Specifically, in IRIS software we communicate to the addresses:
https://transaction-engine.tax.service.gov.uk/poll
https://transaction-engine.tax.service.gov.uk/submission
These addresses should be whitelisted/excluded from AV software, firewalls, etc. if you are having trouble communicating to HMRC.
Additionally, to ensure you continue to receive confirmation emails from HMRC when you send your submissions, add the following addresses to your email whitelist / safe list / not spam:
gateway.confirmation@gateway.gov.uk
no.reply@confirmation.tax.service.gov.uk
