Why are the Governance costs showing under Supports costs for Charity accounts on the Statement of Financial Activities?
Resolution
Governance costs will now show under the Support Costs section in the notes to the accounts. The charts of accounts have been updated with new account codes to reflect this. To find the list, please select Help | Help | Chart of Accounts – from your Accounts Production module. Please refer to https://www.charitysorp.org/about-the-sorp/helpsheets/ for more information on the changes between the existing SORP and FRS 102 SORP. “IRIS strongly recommend attending our series of FRS seminars – please click on the following link for further details: New FRS 101 & 102 training courses
