Problem
I am filing by internet and am getting 'Error 5012 in Box 1'. How do I resolve this?
Resolution
The revenue directs that you cannot have a negative figure for turnover.
If you have a negative turnover figure, go to Data Entry | Turnover and set this figure to zero. If you are trying to show a loss enter an expenses figure, this can be done via Edit | Update profits and entering an expenses figure.
If you are certain that the figure should be negative, you will need to do a paper return.
