Error 1402. Could not open key UNKNOWNComponents......... Verify that you have sufficient access to that key or contact your support personnel.
Resolution
This is not a specific IRIS problem but relates to an issue with registry security settings.
In order to restore security settings to a known working state.
Open CMD as administrator (search in start menu for CMD then right click and run as administrator)
Then copy the following line: “secedit /configure /cfg %windir%infdefltbase.inf /db defltbase.sdb /verbose”
Select Enter and allow the command to run
Retry the IRIS Workstation Install.
