Problem
When trying to print user gets the error 438
Resolution
This error occurs when GP Payroll cannot connect to the default printer.
Go to “Control Panel” | “Devices and Printers” and make sure you have a printer designated as the default, this will be indicated by a green tick next to the printer.
Make sure you have a printer set as the default, if none are ticked, right click on the printer and select “Set as default printer“. If a printer is selected as default, try selecting another device to be the default printer and then change it back to the original option.
Restart GP Payroll and you should be able to print without error.
