Does IRIS provide a built-in backup routine like those sometimes found on programs from your competitors?

Resolution

For those running SQL Server on the same machine as the IRIS installation there are silent backups installed within Scheduled Tasks. NOTE: While these scheduled tasks have been created by the IRIS installer, it is the responsibility of the user to ensure that these backups run as planned. It is also possible to use the IRIS Database Manager tool. For detailed instructions please refer to KB 6503
