Problem
All users receive the following error when opening Microsoft Outlook: Unable to Initialise IRIS Docs Email Assistant
Resolution
A system service will need to be restarted to resolve this issue, please find the steps below to assist with this:
- Connect onto the Server which IRIS docs is installed
- Click Start
- Type Run and select programme
- Type services.msc
- Click OK
- Restart the INVU ECM Service
After restarting the service users will need to close/reopen outlook to initialise the IRIS email assistant addin.
