Problem
When trying to update payroll user gets the following error:
Resolution
This error is caused by the presence of a file, “Payroll.ID” held in your program folder.
If you DO have a support contract with Farmplan, please get in touch with their support for the correct software update. Tel: 01594 545022
Otherwise, you can delete the payroll.id file from your installtion folder. Once removed the update process will go through without error:
• Right click on your payroll shortcut and select “Properties“
• On the properties windows, click the button “Open File Location“
• In the list of files and folders, find and delete “payroll.id“
• Restart the software update.
