Problem

How is box 4 on page T 1 completed to show the net amount of income taxable at the savings rate from a non-discretionary trust?

Resolution

Users are required to: 1. Log on to Personal Tax and select client. 2. Select Trusts, Settlements and Estates, select Other Trusts and Settlements. 3. Click New, add the Trust details. 4. Enter the Gross income, enable Savings rate.
