How do I change the Posting Date on Range of Postings?

Select the post file entry you wish to work in, Posting| Select| choose the relevant post file| OK . Then follow the steps listed below: Select: Reports | List Postings (on screen) Click OK to list all postings in the post file, or select the range of postings you wish to view and click OK. The postings selected will be listed, click Change. To change an individual posting Enter the number of the posting to be changed in the “from” and “to” fields and click Change. The details of the posting are shown in the top half of the screen. This screen allows you to change the date and narrative of the posting, click OK to save the changes. Clicking Cancel will return you to the previous screen, any changes made will not be saved. To change a range of postings Enter the posting numbers of the postings you wish to change in the “from” and “to” fields and click Change. Accounts Production will ask you to confirm that what you have entered in the from and to fields is correct, click Yes to continue or No to return to the previous screen. You will be asked if you wish to change the Posting date Narrative Work reference Tick the items to be changed. The Change postings screen will be displayed as above, complete the field you wish to change and click OK to save the changes or Cancel to return to the previous screen. The changes will be made to all postings in the selected range.
