Problem
On the Operating Profit note the 'Highest paid director' emoluments totals are not appearing for either current or last year
Resolution
Highest paid director emoluments will ony appear if they exceed £200,000
The highest paid director information will not show if it is a small company, there is an option to disclose this in the financial statement small company screen.
Run a TBL report and check that postings exceed this figure.
Make sure postings have been made to correct sub accounts and *? for required director.
The calculation of the £200,000 does not take into consideration the pension contributions posted to /6 and /7
Check postings to ‘Benefits in Kind’ as these may be what is theoretically pushing the emoluments over £200,000. If this is the assumption then postings to these accounts do not make emoluments exceed £200,000 so figure will not show on the note.
(They are however included once the emoluments figure is over £200,000)
