Sutton McGrath is a team of Chartered and Chartered Certified Accountants with offices in Sheffield and Chesterfield.

The practice serves a client base that stretches throughout south Yorkshire and Derbyshire and further afield. Sutton McGrath specialises in advising clients in the owner-managed sector on accounting and tax matters, and, as ICAEW Registered Auditors and expert tax planners, offers a professional advisory service. The Sutton McGrath team had been using a large number of modules in the IRIS Accountancy Suite for compliance work and to manage the practice workload, when in 2012 the practice decided to migrate to accountancy software from another vendor. Partner David Sutton explains the reasoning behind the move: “After a dozen years or more of using IRIS Accountancy Suite, we felt it was time to see what else was ‘out there’. IRIS isn’t the cheapest software on the market, and, like any business in the current climate, it seemed sensible to review our options and see if there was a product that could deliver the same functionality at a lower cost.”
