The payroll bureau, T P Jones & Co LLP, manages the payrolls for approximately 50 companies across a wide range of industries. Having experienced rapid growth and winning more and more clients, T P Jones recently started to consider upgrading to a payroll system that would provide them with more flexibility, functionality and business benefits. They chose IRIS Payroll Professional for a number of reasons. Simone Morgan, Wages Manager, takes up the story. “As we were using IRIS anyway, we decided it would be much easier to upgrade to IRIS Payroll Professional than choosing a completely different supplier. Having looked at the software, it had everything we needed and importantly, it was the sort of system you can teach yourself. Our accountants use IRIS practice software and are happy with it and we wanted to remain standardised with IRIS across each department.” The conversion was handled by an IRIS consultant who transferred all the data from IRIS PAYE-Master to IRIS Payroll Professional. A half day training course was then arranged to take place on site.
