Eric Parry Architects is a leading-edge firm of architects and urban designers based in London.

The established, award-winning practice has a large and notable portfolio of work including prestigious commercial projects in the capital along with restoration projects such as St Martin in The Fields Church in Trafalgar Square.

The company has 55 members of staff on its books, around 95 percent of whom are employed on a full-time basis.

Finance Manager Jin Georgiou uses IRIS PAYE-Master. She explained why its simplicity was perfect for small to medium-sized businesses.

She said: “The company originally outsourced its payroll but when I joined it was with a view to bringing it in-house as the company grew bigger. I did some research into the best options available. I spoke to people at various companies and to our auditors and it was decided that we should go for IRIS.

“I liked it because it was very user-friendly. I had worked with payroll for a long time so I knew what to look for and I worked it all out very quickly. I did need to make use of the call centre a bit at the start but they were always very helpful.

I particularly like the updating facility whether it’s for a tax code or maybe a new employee. You don’t have to come out of the system and go back in every time you want to change anything. You can just change what you need and move on to the next one.
