London, United Kingdom, October 25th, 2018 - This year members of the Innervision team have committed to #GoSober for the month of October to raise money for Macmillian Cancer Support.
The fundraising challenge, which runs from 1st to 31st October, encourages individuals and teams to forgo alcohol for a month and raise money through sponsorship from friends, family and colleagues or through the donation of Golden Tickets which entitle participants to a night off from the Go Sober challenge should a special occasion occur during the month. Golden tickets can be brought by participants themselves or donated by others for a minimum £15 donation.
Last year, 75,000 people signed up for the Go Sober for October challenge, raising £5 Million for Macmillian Cancer Support in the process. All the money raised by those Going Sober this October will help Macmillan support even more people facing cancer.
Not only is the challenge a great opportunity to raise money for a great course. Participants will also reap the benefit from dropping the booze for a month, such as increased energy and a better night’s sleep, improved skin, improved insulin resistance, lower blood pressure and or course no lengthy and turbulent hangovers. It will also provide the Innervision team with an opportunity to recalibrate and re-evaluate their own views and relationship with alcohol.
With the long enticing summer months now behind us and the excess fuelled festive period rapidly approaching, the Go Sober challenge couldn’t come at a more appropriate and appealing time.
So far, the Innervision SoberHeros have raised over £550. If you’d like to donate to this amazing cause and help people with cancer, follow this link to the Innervision fundraising page:
