IRIS Software Group (IRIS) has been named a finalist at the Cloud Excellence Awards 2024 by leading UK business technology publication Computing UK for the second consecutive year. This year, IRIS is shortlisted in two categories: ‘Multi-Hybrid Cloud Product of the Year’ and ‘Best Cloud Support Provider’; winners are slated to be revealed at the award ceremony in London on 18 September.

The Cloud Excellence Awards honour products, projects and individuals that embody both innovation and delivery — taking their ideas through to a successful end state with satisfied customers and provable returns. This is the second year in a row that IRIS Software Group has been recognised for its software-as-a-service cloud products after winning the ‘Cloud Vendor of the Year’ Cloud Excellence Award in 2023.

Between April 2023 to April 2024, more than 5,500 customers migrated to IRIS’ cloud-hosted accountancy platform, IRIS Elements, achieving a 95% cumulative customer satisfaction (CSAT) score. Elements is a cloud solution for accountants, firms and practices featuring an unparalleled ‘hybrid-by-design’ architecture that allows firms to transition to the cloud at their own pace. Elements is part of IRIS’ portfolio of personalised cloud solutions for its 24,000+ UK bookkeeping and accountancy customers, tailored to align with the unique needs and proficiency levels of each client and cater to both simple and high-end complex compliance requirements.

Similarly, IRIS helped facilitate more than 920 migrations from on-premise HR and payroll products to its Staffology by IRIS cloud-hosted platform in FY24, helping customers triple their productivity. Currently, Staffology by IRIS supports more than 2,000 businesses and 250,000 employees.

Alan Hartwell, Chief Technology Officer at IRIS Software Group, said: “We are incredibly proud to be named once again as a finalist in Computing UK’s Cloud Excellence Awards. These recognitions reflect our commitment to delivering innovative cloud solutions that empower our clients to thrive. IRIS Elements, for example, continues to build strong momentum in the UK market, with IRIS Elements Tax and IRIS Elements Accounts receiving full accreditation from the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB).”
