Winners of IRIS Customer Awards revealed
The winners of the IRIS Customer Awards 2020 have been revealed.
A host of victorious companies, teams, and individuals, were celebrating their success at the ceremony last night in the ICC, Birmingham, following IRIS World 2020. The full list of winners can be seen further below.
The various categories encompassed all IRIS customers – from accountancy, payroll, HR and education.
The awards recognise the leading individuals, managers, businesses, schools, and organisations, who deliver outstanding service and results for their customers.
The winners gave their reactions to us on video immediately after being handed their awards. Below is a selection of their comments, as shared on Twitter last night and further down you can see some of the clips.
Alastair Barlow is a founding partner of flinder – the winners of Accountancy Mid-Sized Practice of the Year. He said: “It feels fantastic, we started three years and 11 days ago, so to be already in the category of mid-size firm is incredible. It’s about great strategy, a fantastic team and brilliant clients.”
HR Manager of the Year went to Julie Blackburn from Northgate Lighting Ltd. Julie said: “It’s absolutely amazing. I’m really lucky to be in a job I love and a company I absolutely adore.”
Simon Cowie, MD of Infinity Partnership, was named Accountancy Professional of the Year and his firm scooped Accountancy Client Excellence Firm of the Year too. It’s a second successive success at the IRIS Customer Awards for him and his team.
He said: “We won it last time as well, so two in a row, that’s great. Happy days!”
