IRIS Keytime Accountants' Suite Spring 21.1 service pack
The Spring 2021 release Service Pack of Keytime Accountants’ Suite v21.1.293 is now available.
This service pack provides you with solutions to a number of issues reported since the last release. See further details below.
Please note that before you can install this version, you must have installed version 21.1. To check the version, open any Keytime module, select the Help menu and select About.

General
Following an update to handle HMRCs hardened Government Gateway password, all tax products have now been updated to handle non-alphanumeric characters within the password.
Personal Tax
- In the Self Employment full pages, box 77 was being incorrectly calculated when claiming income support grant in box 70.1 and the grant exceeded the loss for the year. This caused the return to be rejected with an error.
This issue has now been resolved. - Users were experiencing a software crash when attempting to open the data entry screen associated with the Foreign pages for tax years 2015, 2016 and 2017.
This issue has now been resolved. - Run time error 32006 was occurring when closing the ‘hard copy’ declaration screen in the SA800.
This issue has now been resolved. - When attempting to select a date printed in the Internet Filing Management screen, the calendar was not allowing a date beyond 5 April 2021. This has now been resolved.
- An automation error was occurring when attempting to print a return via the Print menu.
This issue has now been resolved.
Corporation Tax
- PDF copies of the computation were displaying a net trading loss without parenthesis, this has now been corrected.
- The CT600 submission was being rejected with an error where the result of box 526 ‘Coronavirus support schemes overpayment now due’ is nil.
Accounts Production
- After attempting to set a ‘save to’ location for secured PDF copies of the accounts, the system was setting the path back to the default location and then placing the PDF in that location.
This issue has now been resolved. - In the charity accounts format, when double clicking any figure in the SoFA in an attempt to drill down, a syntax error occurred and the software closed down.
This issue has now been resolved.
VAT Filer
The option to import data from clipboard has been removed. HMRCs soft landing period has now ended and data must be transferred via digital links. The remaining options all meet the criteria specified in the Legislation of a digital link.
