How To Input Licence Details into IRIS Bookkeeping
Resolution
To licence IRIS Bookkeeping please enter the product and then go to “Tools” > “Options” and select the licensing tab.
Product: This will always be IRIS Bookkeeping and can’t be changed
Company Name: You will need to change this to your company name; it needs to match exactly what is printed on the receipt you have received from Iris Software Ltd.
Changing this on a single user license will bring up a warning box explaining that changing the company name will require a new authorisation code, as long as all your details match, just press OK to this.
Customer Key Code: This is an automatic number generated depending on the name of your company. This can’t be changed and must match what is printed on the receipt.
Expiry Date: Change this to match the expiry date on your receipt.
Number of Companies: This is the number of companies that your contract will allow. This can either be a single company license, a five company license or a forty company license.
Companies Used: This represents how many company slots have been used within Bookkeeping.
Authorisation Code: Enter the authorisation code printed on your receipt.
