Problem
When trying to publish payslips user gets a message that the email address for a specific employee is already in use/registered and unable to publish payslips.
Resolution
Unfortunately, the employee has registered their email address as an employer rather than an employee.
Either replace the email address with another one for that employee or, if another email isn’t available we will need to get the OpenPaylips team to remove the existing record for this email address.
We require written consent before we can action this.
Please fax through on company letter headed paper the payroll licence details (Contract Number or customer reference) along with the employee name and email address to be removed.
Please send this to:
Fax: 0844 815 5670
Once we have removed the record at our end the next time you publish a payslips the employee will get the activation email again.
