Problem
I've entered the required information for a statutory payment auto absence calculation. The details only seem to save the 2nd time I click the button and when I look in pay variation the employee isn't receiving the payment.
Resolution
The most likely cause of this is a change has been made to the repeating pattern of your pay dates in the payroll calendar. For example, a weekly pay date has been moved from a Wednesday to a Friday repeating pattern or a monthly pay date has been changed to the last working day of the month from the last Friday of the month. Unfortunately once a change like this has been effected, PAYE-Master will no longer be able to auto calc your statutory payments, in this instance, you will need to pay your statutory payment manually by typing in the value in variations on the statutory payment tab.
You will be able to resume using the auto absence calculation once you roll into the new tax year.
