Problem
Submission rejected with the message:
Submission Error: 7806
This submission cannot be accepted as it does not fall within the eligible filing period.
Resolution
Excluding errors with dates selected (i.e. end date on EPS selected is past the end of the tax year) this rejection is returned by HMRC when they have closed the PAYE scheme.
You will need to check with HMRC that the PAYE scheme is still classed as active on their systems and they are expecting RTI submissions.
