Problem
How can I access my payroll data for the previous tax year?
Resolution
You can access the previous year’s payroll data by clicking on “Year-End” > “Use Last Year’s Data“:
Please Note: If the button “Use Last Year’s Data” is greyed out and unavailable to click, your payroll system does not have a previous year payroll file to load. This could be because the file has been moved or deleted, or perhaps a year-end restart hasn’t been performed yet in this system. In this situation, your only option would be to restore a backup.
This option is useful for reprinting reports, completing submissions etc.
Once you have finished what you need to do in the previous tax year return to the current tax year by clicking on “Year-End” > “Close Last Year’s Data“. This will return you to where you left off in the current year.
If you are required to make amendments to the processed payroll for a previous tax year your best option would be to restore a back up from the point you wish to make the corrections. Please make sure you have a back up of your current data to restore when you have finished with your previous year corrections.
