How do I manually start the SQL Services?
Resolution
It has been identified that in a small number of cases the SQL Services do not start automatically and it is therefore necessary to start these services manually.
Following the steps below should assist with the starting of the SQL Services manually.
- Click Start and then click Run
- Type services.msc and press Enter
- From the list locate SQL Server (IRISPRACTICE)
NOTE: SQL Server (IRISPRACTICE) is the default instance installed by IRIS Practice Software. In some cases this name maybe different.
- Right Click SQL Server (IRISPRACTICE) and click Start The service status should now show Started
