IRIS Business/Personal Tax- Generated Tax Return or report will not appear/load on screen/missing
Resolution
When you generate a tax return eg a CT600 or SA100 the tax return would appear on screen for you to check ,save, print off. But the Tax return never appears and you get no errors.
Method One: Go to the IRIS Main Menu, at the top click Tools and click ‘Clear Window positions’, now regenerate the tax return.
Method Two: If the affected PC has multiple monitors setup:
1.Go to your Windows and look up ‘Rearrange your displays’ or Change Display Settings
2. If there are 2+ screens set up, then Switch screen 1 and 2 around (drag 2 to the left of 1)– i.e. change the primary display
3. Then click apply
4. Now generate the Tax return/report again
If this doesn’t work, do ask another user on another pc to generate the same tax return for the client – if it works on their pc then its an issue on your pc windows setting or your IRIS login.
