IRIS Business Tax- Invalid data Entry: 'Amount of Loan' 0.00 or Amountofloan
Resolution
This issue has been reported on IRIS Software Version 25.1.0 and is with the IRIS Development Software Team under investigation. As soon as there is a response, the Knowledgebase article will be updated accordingly.
Workaround: In the Participators Loan screen- Manually override and remove any values picked up in the data screen (even do this for any £0.00 entries showing) and re-generate the tax return and it will now go through. If the workaround dosnt work then there is a planned fix in the MAY IRIS Service Pack 25.1.1 (Week commencing 26th May Subject to change).
However this workaround will not work if the client has a new loan outstanding entry/repaid entry and this is still with the IRIS Development Software Team.
