IRIS Business Tax - Partnership Date of commencement entered in box 3.7 must be on or after the 6th April of the return
Resolution
When in BT for a Partnership, you get a error: Date of commencement entered in box 3.7 must be on or after the 6th April of the return
a) Client| View – Enter the date the partner joined in the ‘trading commenced’ date.
And/OR
b) Remove the ‘from’ date in Client/View/Related/involvements and save
Then regenerate the tax return. Due to HMRC restrictions; any dates that fall within 01/04/17 – 05/04/17 will throw up a rejection.
