IRIS Business Tax- System XML Exception, Root Element is missing OR Fatal Error 2001
Resolution
These two Error messages occur when you are trying to attach an optional PDF which is too large.
The maximum restriction for attaching a PDF is 2MB (2000KB). Anything greater than this will cause the Electronic Tax return to be aborted.
You will need to reduce the size of the PDF and reattach the new PDF.
