IRIS Business Tax- System XML Exception, Root Element is missing

Resolution

This Error message occurs when you are trying to attach an optional PDF which is too large. The maximum restriction for attaching a PDF is 2MB. Anything greater than this will cause the Electronic Tax return to be aborted.

You will need to reduce the size of the PDF.
