Employment is showing as a duplication on the student loan repayment computation
Resolution
This happens because the income from a previous employment is being pulled through. To correct this, the following must be done:
- Login to personal tax and select the client.
- go to income | employment | earnings/foreign earnings
- Involvements
- View the duplicated employment with a to date | remove the to date. The employment will now show in the data entry screen.
- Highlight the duplicated employment | delete | Select ‘Yes’ to ‘delete earnings?’ message.
- Re-enter the to date
