Problem

How can attributes be created, edited or deleted?

Resolution

  • Open IRIS Main Menu and click on IRIS Practice Management, Log in as MASTER
  • The staff control panel will be displayed. Go to Setup | Client Attributes
  • The Client Attribute Maintenance Screen will be displayed To Add an Attribute
  • Click on Add Attribute
  • Enter Visible ID (e.g. News)
  • Enter a description (e.g. Newsletter)
  • Click on OK To Edit an Attribute
  • Highlight the attribute that you want to edit (e.g. Golf)
  • Change Visible ID (e.g. Golf) to (e.g. Tennis)
  • Change description (e.g. Golf tournament) to (e.g. Tennis Tournament)
  • Click on Ok To Delete Attribute NOTE: The particular attribute must be un-ticked on the clients that it’s associated with before you can delete the attribute fully
  • Highlight the attribute that you want to delete (e.g. Tennis)
  • Click on OK to confirm deletion of attribute
