Problem
I am unable to post to a 'single sided' (non-contributing) account? IRIS beeps and the Posting isn't made?

Resolution
Check the ‘Document Type’ that is currently selected within the Posting screen.
If a Double Entry Document Type is currently being used, IRIS wont allow a ‘single sided’ (non-contributing) posting to be made.
Select: Posting | Post | Batch Control
Click New and select a non double entry Document Type e.g. 11 Journals and continue posting.
