Problem
Capital allowances/charges are not transferring to the partnership return
Resolution
This is currently an issue within IRIS and is due to be fixed within 19.1.0.
In the mean time, as a workaround, can you please go to;
– Edit | Capital Allowances
– A-Maintain Assets
– Double click on the Asset and un-tick A | Untick the box “Expensive Motor Vehicle Restriction”
– Complete the above for all assets
If this does not work. Go to:
-Trades | Partnership | Overwrite/Leave Alone – set to NO
– The new data entry is located along the left side of the screen
– Trading and Profession Income | Capital Allowance Summary and manually enter the information
This should then allow the figures to pull through to the return correctly.
