Problem
When generating a Corporation Tax Return a validation error appears: Invalid data entry all charitable, the element status in namespace has an invalid child elements allcharitable namespace
Resolution
To solve this please do the following in Business Tax:
- Go to Data Entry in the top left-hand corner
- Charities and CASCs (CT600E)
- Tick boxes E15 and E20
This is a HMRC restriction. Once all the above is completed and the figures are correct on the CT600 and Tax computation. You will need to regenerate the Electronic Tax return.
