Resolution
The box is completed automatically if there is an entry been made within boxes 16.1 – 16.22.
Note that if the trust is UK Resident then Q16 is not applicable and capital payments should not be entered.
If you have made an entry under Other Information | Payments to Beneficiaries (Tax Pool) | Capital Payments to Beneficiaries. This field is only for non-resident trusts therefore you can remove the entry and question 16 will not be populated.
If you do not know where to re-enter the details under Capital Payments to the Beneficiaries you must contact HMRC for the page and box number that you are required to complete.
