Problem

IRIS Personal Tax- Tax Summary is not saving the changes made and shows different amount comparing with the Tax Computation

Resolution

To save the changes in PT Tax Summary please do the following in Personal Tax:

  1. Load the Practice Management tool first as the ‘Tax Summary’ report requires the PM program to be loaded or it cannot be run
  2. Run PT and load the Client and Select the right year
  3. Run the Tax Computation
  4. Select Administration as ‘Interim’ or “Final” Click OK
  5. Select Screen, Click OK
  6. Close the Tax Computation
  7. Client and View
  8. Tax Summary and Refresh
  9. The amount in the Tax summary should show the correct amount and should match with the tax computation
