Problem
When posting to a Directors account e.g. 727/1 the posting keeps defaulting to *0 (Unknown Director).
Resolution
Select:
Edit | Director/Secretary
1. Make sure the Director has an order number.
If they haven’t got an order number then select ‘View’ and enter an account order.
2. Make sure the Director’s ‘From’ and ‘To’ dates are within the correct year.
Select:
Posting | Post
3. Is the default posting date within the year that the postings are for.
Within the Posting entry select ‘Batch Control’ and check the ‘Default posting date’.
